May brings spring and warmer weather and end of the school year activities.  Of course, you cannot forget Mother's Day, and we'll start her day out right.  Purchase a Breakfast in Bed Combo on Sunday and we'll give you a free flower.  For dessert that weekend, pick up a Chocolate Babka or White Chocolate Cherry bread--or both.

And, don't forget Teacher Appreciation week--or just make it the whole month.  After all, just think of the work it saves you.  Teachers like Great Harvest Gift Certificates in any denomination, our Grab 'n' Go gifts, and pretty Gift Baskets filled with goodies.

YOU HAVE SEEN the adds on TV -- whole grains are good for you.  That's nothing new to us.  We have been preaching that for 25 years.

- more complex carbohydrates

- more fiber

- more nutrients

- more filling (that means you will need to eat less :-)

YOU ALSO KNOW that is is good for the environment to buy local.  We do.  Our wheat farmer is in Bridgeport, WA. And he grows organic wheat.  We grind it into flour.

Keep coming in -- we do it for you.

We are located at 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park, WA, in the lower level in the Lake Forest Park Town Center.  Please come and see us.

We Grind Our Whole Wheat Fresh Every Day!

August is the beginning of wheat harvest when the new crop of organic wheat begins its journey from the field to our bread to your table. We have partnered with a local farmer, Wade Troutman of Bridgeport, WA, to grow our organic wheat.  What he cannot grow we buy from Montana organic grain farmers.  Our effort is to provide you with the best breads with the most nutritious ingredients, support sustainable local farming and keep our carbon footprint as small as possible.  That's a big job!

We use organic wheat to make our whole wheat flour. When we use our hard-earned dollars on organically grown products, everyone wins, including the environment. We support a business model in which equal value is placed on the planet, the people (our employees and our customers), and the profits.
